Sandra Miju Oh (born July 20, 1971) is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her role as Dr. Cristina Yang on ABC's medical drama Grey's Anatomy, for which she has won Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards. She has also played notable roles in the feature films Under the Tuscan Sun, Last Night, Sideways, and had a supporting role on the HBO original series Arli$$. Other films she has appeared in include The Night Listener, Sorry, Haters, Blindness, Wilby Wonderful, Hard Candy, and Rabbit Hole. The actress' work on Grey's Anatomy has earned her five nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.She starred in the acclaimed Asian Canadian films Double Happiness and Long Life, Happiness & Prosperity the former of which she won the Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
