Julien Benneteau (born December 20, 1981 in Bourg-en-Bresse) is a French professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is ATP World No. 26, which he reached in April 2012. He formerly resided in Boulogne-Billancourt and now lives in Geneva. Benneteau is generally regarded as one of the best singles players on the tour who has not won a title, finishing as runner-up in nine ATP tournaments. He won a Bronze medal in men's doubles at the 2012 London Olympics (parterning Richard Gasquet); reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 French Open; and the quarterfinals of the 2009 Cincinnati Masters and the 2014 Indian Wells Masters.
