Carlos Arnoldo Salcido Flores (born 2 April 1980 in Ocotlán, Jalisco) is a Mexican international football defender who currently plays for Liga MX club Tigres UANL and the Mexican National Team, mainly as a center midfielder.Salcido has previously played with Guadalajara, Fulham and PSV Eindhoven, where he was the first Mexican player to be champion in the Eredivise.Salcido debuted with the Mexico national team in 2004, and has appeared at the 2006 and the 2010 FIFA World Cups, where he played in all of Mexico's matches. He was part of the Mexican team that won the gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.Salcido plays as a left-back for Tigres and the Mexican national team, and occasionally as a midfielder.
