Cometan, also referred to as Cometan the Contemplator, is a religious figure of British nationality most famous for founding Astronism, a religion and philosophy that traces its lineage back to the Stone Age. Author of the founding book of Astronism called the Omnidoxy, Cometan created the Spacefaring World franchise and the Jesse Millette character. Cometan became a scholar and educator on religion and philosophy and continues to work on the dissemination of Astronism through his establishment of the Astronist Institution.
